Forget everything you thought you knew about skincare! Emraan Hashmi, the Bollywood heartthrob, has dropped a bombshell, revealing his surprisingly simple skincare secret while promoting his film Haq: he washes his face with handwash!
This revelation might just make you rethink your entire beauty routine. As Raghav Juyal famously quipped, "Akhaa Bollywood ek taraf or Emraan Hashmi ek taraf" – a statement many of Emraan's fans would wholeheartedly agree with.
Among those fans is Suparn Varma, the director of Haq, a film inspired by the Shah Bano case. But Varma's admiration for Emraan extends beyond his acting prowess; he's utterly fascinated by the actor's skin. During a promotional interview with Radio Mirchi Plus, Emraan and his co-star, Yami Gautam, shared that Varma couldn't stop raving about Emraan's complexion.
"Suparn, our director, used to ask me every day during the shooting of Haq, 'Emraan, what do you do for your skin?'" Emraan revealed in the interview. And his answer? "I sometimes don't even remove the makeup, I just do under-eye makeup, and I am so bad with my skin. I have actually washed my face with handwash."
But here's where it gets controversial... Yami Gautam chimed in, saying, "I think, Suparn, who is our director, he is obsessed with Emraan's skin." She further added, "His impression of you on him, 'My God! Yami, what skin he has. Look at his skin.'"
Emraan, with a touch of humor, responded, "And here I thought I was a good actor."
The actors also disclosed that Suparn delved deep, inquiring about Emraan's diet, workout regimen, the types of fish he consumes, and the supplements he takes – essentially, everything that contributes to his naturally radiant skin. This prompts a question: Could something as simple as handwash be the key to a glowing complexion?
And this is the part most people miss... While Emraan's handwash revelation is intriguing, it's crucial to remember that everyone's skin is different. What works for one person might not work for another. Do you think Emraan's handwash approach is a game-changer, or is it just a lucky coincidence? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
